I build web infrastructure at a scale that breaks ordinary tooling: 1.35 million pages in production across two platforms, every one static, audited and measured.

Lately the same discipline goes into agentic AI: Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that decide what AI agents are permitted to do, and a runtime that gives an agent an identity it cannot forge.

AI agents write most of my code; my job is context, architecture, review, and holding the bar on what ships. Every deploy is manifest-hashed and gate-verified before it goes live — no merge on vibes.

Engine rooms teach one durable lesson: an instrument that flatters you is worse than no instrument at all. Every gauge on this site carries a real number and names its source; where no honest measurement exists, no gauge is drawn. The write-ups are in the incident log.

    Chief Engineer aboard M/Y Usher and Fleet Engineer across a six-yacht fleet: maintenance strategy, budgets, crew training, vendor relations, documentation oversight, emergency response — readiness guaranteed across all hulls simultaneously. Adopted large language models into daily engineering practice from their public release in late 2022 — operations tooling, documentation systems, and the first agent experiments, built from the engine control room. Qualified MCA Chief Engineer Officer (III/2 Y2), examined and passed March 2024.

    Vessel IT infrastructure at enterprise standard: network administration, cybersecurity, Starlink installation and integration design, WiFi backhaul, 5G upgrades, SD-WAN configuration, prototyping; AV/IT systems oversight through the M/Y No Bad Ideas refit. The engagement began in the engine control room — Starlink integrations designed dockside during fleet duty — and became the bridge from marine systems into full-time software and network engineering.

    Sole engineer on an active charter vessel across ten Exumas charters: built the preventative-maintenance system; repaired and commissioned auxiliary systems including the vessel monitoring system; planned the ABS yard period three to four months out.
